As per NFPA 70E, you are required to have PPE appropriate to hazard risk category (HRC). Required PPE as described in NFPA 70E are:

Cal/cm2 is the unit of measurement of incident energy. Note that a hard hat with full-face shield and the appropriate gloves are required also.
